Michael Moore describes corporations as having psychopathic characteristics, intently focused on the bottom line of profit at all costs. We as consumers, way down on the corporate food chain, often have little power over the products we are interested in and the price for those products.
Many companies have developed their purchasing power from corporations and purport to bring quality goods at "affordable" prices to consumers. Let's not kid ourselves, those same companies are focused on maximizing profit not on a fair distribution of wealth. There are non-profit and not for profit organizations that assist consumers to purchase goods at a lower price point but so often their overhead grows resulting in raised prices.
This group is about helping individual consumers to connect and form collective purchasing power using sound, ethical and pragmatic crowd negotiation strategies. Meet with other consumers interested in purchasing specific products, develop and implement a group purchase plan that results in cost savings for everyone.
